1. What was the student culture like before you started working with Pynx DJ Services?
Students have been reluctant and nervous about dances since the pandemic. After a few years now of hosting dances and working with your team we’ve noticed more and more students coming out and having a really good time! It’s been awesome.
2. Can you tell us about the challenges you faced in getting students excited about school dances?
Most of our students get pretty excited for dances these days!! A few years ago it was difficult to get the message out but now that momentum has been building it’s quite a bit easier.
3. How did Pynx DJ Services help you address those challenges?
Provided videos and media to share on our socials. Also the website is pretty helpful with suggestions on ways to build hype.
4. How did Pynx’s DJ team tailor their services to meet the needs of your school?
They were super flexible with playlists. Students really like having a say in the music before and during the events and the DJs helped make it happen. We sent in playlists beforehand after we surveyed students and they were pumped when they heard their requests get played!
5. What kind of impact have you seen on student engagement and attendance at school dances since working with Pynx?
It’s been great. For a small school of under 700…. for us to have 200 ish students turning up to dances is pretty amazing!
6. How would you describe the atmosphere of the dances now compared to before?
They’re awesome! So much fun and the music is always really good. The kids at Preston are also superstars so I’m sure that helps too,
7. Do you think Pynx has contributed to creating a more positive reputation for your school? If so, how?
Definitely for the dances!!! It was pretty great to be able to put on such fun events for our students.
8. What kind of feedback have you received from students about the dances since partnering with Pynx?
Super fun.
9. How has working with Pynx influenced your planning for future school dances?
It’s been really easy to be honest. You are extremely accommodating and flexible. It’s been awesome.
