The dedicated Wedding DJ team here at Pynx DJ Services focuses on effective planning, open and clear communication with clients, playing great music and helping all of your guests have an unforgettable time!

Our wedding DJ team can be best described as the etiquette of a black-tie dinner and the energy of a club dancefloor to make for a great experience! We entertain in a professional and tasteful manner while keeping the attention focused where it should be…on YOU!

Our Wedding DJ team understands the importance of making your wedding day the most memorable day of your life and we pride ourselves on providing a high standard of service in all aspects of our business. Our Wedding DJ team prepares for each wedding and event by doing a consultation. We provide a complimentary web-based reception planning resource to communicate music preferences as part of our Wedding DJ service which each bride & groom will have private login to access.

The wedding reception planner is very detailed and gives you the room to plan your special dances, schedules, must play requests and everything in between! Our team shows up early, we are flexible, communicative and well prepared!

Services Offered

The business carries $5M liability insurance and offers consultations, do-not-play lists, wedding photo booth services, dry ice for your first dance, cold sparks, video rentals, pipe and drape rentals and MC services. DJs at Pynx Productions know their craft inside out and also have the ability to read the crowd and play just what they want to hear. Having worked on Canada’s popular radio shows, DJs and event hosts at Pynx have a knack for keeping audiences hooked all night long.

Tailored Playlists

At Pynx, we believe that every wedding is unique, and your music should reflect that! Our talented wedding DJs take the time to work closely with you before your big day to create a personalized playlist that captures your style and vision. Through thoughtful conversations and careful planning, we get to know your musical preferences, favourite songs, and any must-haves for your celebration. Whether you’re dreaming of romantic ballads for your first dance or high-energy tracks to get the dance floor buzzing, our tailored playlists are crafted to ensure that every moment is perfectly accompanied by the right tunes.

Extra Features

We have a number of extra features to personalize and enhance your wedding DJ services. We can offer Dry Ice for your first dance that creates an effect of dancing on the clouds. We have tasteful wireless uplighting packages to add some colour to your reception that are fully customizable.

Pynx DJ Services offers a Wedding Photobooth with fun props and instant colour prints for your guests. We have Pipe and Drape sections available for backdrops or sectioning off areas of your venue. We have Projector and Screen rentals for photo slideshows. As well, Pynx DJ Services has Cold Sparks for adding a bit of flare to your wedding party introductions or for your first dance. He DJ'd both our sangeet and our wedding, and absolutely nailed the vibe for both events. The dance floor was packed all night long. We honestly don't think there was ever a point where it was empty! He did an amazing job reading the room, keeping the energy up, and playing the perfect mix of songs for all of our guests.

One thing that really stood out to us was how open he was to learning about Indian music and the different traditions that were important to us. We hadn't been to any weddings that used a DJ, so when we found out we would need to at least rent a sound system, we figured we'd start with a DJ and go from there. We are so glad we did, Stef-Han and DJ Martin were fantastic at helping our dream come to life.

Martin went above and beyond my expectations. From our initial conversation, Martin got a vibe of what we were looking for and we felt comfortable with trusting his discretion when it came to song requests throughout the night. With having a blended Jewish-Acadian Christian wedding, we were worried about ostracizing one group or another with cultural music. After dinner, we danced the Hora to get everyone on the dancefloor. But where Martin's expertise really showed was by playing the Night Pat Murphy Died immediately after to start the dance party. It was such a beautiful way to have our guests share in both of our cultures. For a Sunday night wedding, we had people on the dancefloor until the house lights came on!

My mom, who has been working in event management for over 20 years, said that our wedding was the first time she's seen the value of hiring a quality DJ. We have told all of our engaged friends in the area about the awesome work Pynx does, and we hope to see them at future events soon!

We used Pynx DJ Services for our wedding 2 weeks ago (at River's Edge in Paris) and we can't recommend them enough!! We had Martin as our DJ and he was wonderful to work with. First of all, the dance floor was an absolute party and he carried out our vision for us perfectly. The music and the dance floor were super important to us, and we felt like Martin completely understood what we were going for and we trusted him 100%. He met with us twice before the event (we requested virtual which he did) and he was super organized and had a bunch of specific questions about the ceremony, dinner hour, specifics for the dance floor, etc. Everything was on a spreadsheet that we could fill out in our own time, but we also went through it all together. Then he executed everything perfectly on the day! We also had great communication from Stef-Han, who helped us get set up with Martin, and Denise and Christina, who we connected with when we were making payments for our deposit and final balance. Everyone was all-around lovely and we very highly recommend working with them!

This company is hands down amazing. We went with Pynx for our wedding reception last weekend. We secured DJ Services as well as a Photo Booth with an Attendant.

From day one Mike's communication was amazing (one of the big reasons we went with Pynx - you will be taken care of), he was there for us prior to booking to have a meeting and answer any question we may have had and followed up with us prior to our wedding and after to make sure everything went well. He even secured for us a gold glitter backdrop that would go with our wedding theme for the photo booth. Denise took our wedding vision and ensured the photo booth prints out for our guests went with our colours. Addison was wonderful as an attendant and made sure our guests were taken care of and had fun with the photo booth (highly recommend this service).

DJ Services - we had Brady A. as our DJ who was PHENOMENAL, he met with us prior and was on board with our vision of how we wanted the reception to go. He provided MC services last minute as well which were amazing. He paid attention to detail and when noticed some of our "odes" to star wars the evening of - he immediately downloaded a whole repertoire of star wars tracks that were played when our friends and family walked up to the podium for speeches! We loved this surprise and felt taken care of. Brady was AMAZING. His personality was excellent, his professionalism was A + and the music was perfect! We had the BEST experience working with Pynx for our wedding in Toronto. Couldn't recommend them enough! If you're planning a party or wedding and are mulling over which company to go with for great music and AV production, this is the team to go with. They offer terrific rates for high quality production value and are super skilled at ensuring you get top quality sound no matter your venue space. Our wedding was at an atrium with very high ceilings that can be tricky to achieve the right sound quality throughout the space, but the team at Pynx was able to confidently pull off the perfect sound and lighting set up without issue. And not only that, but these guys know how to throw a party! DJ Martin was a blast. He kept the dance floor going all night and was incredible to work with from beginning to end. We genuinely had the best time working with you guys.

DJ Andrij is 5 plus bonus stars amazing!! This is the second wedding in my family that we have been lucky enough to secure Pynx Productions and the ever talented Adrij!! Two totally different wedding venues between my son and daughter's weddings but yet both were amazing dance floor music, Andrij is so kind and personable and FUN! At the last minute I emailed Andrij with a song choice a few days before the wedding but then totally forgot about it and was busy all night dancing and socializing. At the end of the night he played the bride and grooms last song and i truly believed he saw me and my husband on the dance floor because after the last song, he announced he had a further song as requested (which was the song I requested and i know this as it was a unique version of a classic slow song). CLASS ACT!!!! Mike at Pynx was my first point of contact through all these wedding planning stages and always responded to my many emails with grace and patience considering I was a stressed mother of bride and groom. Highly recommend!!! Wish I had more children to marry off! But I will be using these guys again if I ever need a DJ, movie night etc.

We had a great experience with Mike and the entire staff at Pynx! Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and listened to all our wants and needs. They were also super responsive to all emails, and one of the smoothest vendors we worked with! We used Pynx for our Jack and Jill as well as our wedding and although we had two different DJs, everyone loved the music at both events!! We had people compliment us for DAYS after our JnJ on how good the music was and how much fun they had. Martin was phenomenal! Pynx was AMAZING to work with. Right from the get go with our first meeting with Mike, to dealing with Denise and then to Andrij on our wedding day Pynx was incredible to work with. Mike was amazing. Easy to talk to and quite literally found us the perfect match of a DJ. We had initially not wanted a DJ but after our phone call with Mike we completely reconsidered. We were late sending in our deposit as my bride brain was complete mush and kept forgetting but Mike never once was rude about asking for it and was so kind about it. Just the overall kindness with this company is something I wish I could truly express all my gratitude for. Andrij was incredible. He literally MADE our wedding. The day of he had my back the whole time and would remind me of cues when I had forgot with all the craziness around me. We had hoped to leave our venue by 11pm that night but we couldn’t keep ourselves off the dance floor as the music just kept getting better and better. I contacted Mike and the team about doing our son and daughter in laws wedding after finding them in a google search for services not far from Woodstock. From the beginning, great communication, super convenient setup of song requests prior to with your own log-in site to fill the details. Quick response times and know customer service! We ended up adding the Photo Booth, dry ice, and cold sparklers as well for a memorable entrance and first dance and it did not disappoint. DJ Brady and his FX team were on time to Oxford Hills, good team meeting with our MC on queuing in the bridal party etc and it was flawless.
